Verification status: pending global client test. No fixed Templar skill order, point budget or best build is asserted here. Older regional guides may describe a different patch or service.
A useful way to plan priorities
First identify what you need the character to do: survive solo encounters, hold attention in a group, or support a particular PvP role. Then compare the actual skill tooltips and upgrade costs in your global client. A skill with a strong description can still be a poor early upgrade if its cost delays an essential defensive or utility option.
Record before recommending a build
| Evidence | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Service, region and patch | Keeps regional or balance changes from being mixed together. |
| Character level and unlocked skills | Explains which choices are available at each stage. |
| Cost per rank and refund rules | Shows the real opportunity cost of an upgrade. |
| Encounter type and equipment | Separates solo, dungeon and PvP needs. |
| Repeatable test result | Lets readers judge whether the proposed order helps in practice. |
Until this has been collected, use the in-client skill descriptions and treat outside rankings as hypotheses. The first-class guide offers a broader decision framework.
